About Jen
Jen currently has her CPDT-KA certification (Certified Professional Dog Trainer Knowledge Assessed). This required a minimum 300 hours of practical hands on dog training, and a 3 hour written exam. This certification requires re-certification every 3 years, so you can be rest assured that Jen is using up to date, science-based training, that is both fear and force free.
Jen also has her KPA CTP certification. This 6 month program requires the completion of online written assignments, training plans, training exercises, and four 2-day in person workshops where training skills and teaching skills are evaluated. There are also 3 final exams where your training skills and knowledge are both tested.
